about
This song is inspired by the whole situation occuring in the world right now. As the Covid-19 has confined the world, we felt inspired by the situation where you're forced to reconnect with yourself, and again, hearing your "Inner Noise" and understanding him. Our Inner Noise is that voice that we all know it's presence in our heads, but not hearing properly. The song was written and recorded from home in two weeks, and mixed and mastered in one week. Hope you'll enjoy.
lyrics
Contemplating the empty soundless streets outside,
Listening to my inner noise for the first time
I realize how fascinating the latter can be,
I never took that time, as far as I can see
I was too busy running in circles to nowhere,
It filled my head with useless shit, stress and despair
Stuck in my place,
Here with myself,
In a quiet place,
Left to myself,
Chaos outside,
Shelter inside,
What do I hear?
My inner noise?
Stuck in my place,
Here with myself,
In a quiet place,
Left to myself,
Chaos outside,
Shelter inside,
What do I feel?
Is that a peace?
I think I will just sit around
And closely listen to my inner noise.
Before I'm back, I'm gonna have a break
At the end, things will be different as well
And then I'm tryin' to listen carefully this sound
But the panic from the outside parasites my attention
I realize how annoying these latter can be,
They never took the time to wonder how to be
They were too busy being dependent on each other,
To the point that they forgot how to cultivate their garden
Stuck in my place,
Here with myself,
In a quiet place,
Left to myself,
Chaos outside,
Shelter inside,
What do I hear?
My inner noise?
Stuck in my place,
Here with myself,
In a quiet place,
Left to myself,
Chaos outside,
Shelter inside,
What do I feel?
Is that a peace?
I think I will just sit around
And closely listen to my inner noise.
Before I'm back, I'm gonna have a break
At the end, things will be different as well
